Platform builds live under a different rule set. Rafts and platform saddles carry their own structure limit, separate from the server's per-tile cap, and every piece you add costs you speed and weight.
That constraint is why these builds are small and deliberate. A longboat that looks the part and still leaves room for a smithy and a bed is a tighter design problem than a ground base ten times its size.
Placement is also fussier: the platform has to be stationary and clear, and pieces that overhang the edge will refuse to place. Preview the ghost from a distance before confirming.
