Decorative builds are the reason Template Hammer exists. A Japanese castle or a multi-level treehouse is hundreds of hours of snapping, angling and material swapping that nobody wants to repeat on a second server.
These are the largest builds on the site by piece count, and most of them use mixed materials and sloped roof pieces heavily. Expect the resource cost to be dominated by walls and roofs rather than foundations.
Check the requirements block carefully here more than anywhere else: themed builds frequently lean on official content packs or cosmetic mods for a specific wall or roof set, and validation lists exactly which.

Detail costs pieces. Sloped roofs, railings, half walls and pillar work multiply the count quickly, which is why several of these builds sit close to the 2,000-structure ceiling.

You can, but a decorative build is a target. Treat it as something you put behind existing defences, not as the defence itself.
Placement itself is fast. Gathering the materials is the real cost, which is why every template page lists the full resource breakdown before you start.
