Extinction is strong when your tribe can clear objectives repeatedly and extract safely. Element veins, OSDs and Titans are different jobs; choose by kit, downtime, PvP exposure and whether you need raw Element, loot, boss progress or recovery value.
Extinction looks simple from outside: run veins, run drops, get value. In Small Tribes, the real question is whether you can hold the area and leave before the server notices.
Veins are about objective control and extraction. If your tribe cannot hold the area or protect the node cleanly, the best theoretical yield means nothing.

OSDs are loot engines when the kit is right. Judge them by wave consistency, repair cost, travel time, PvP interruption and whether the loot solves your next bottleneck.
If you only need Tek fuel or unlock-linked Element, boss routes may be cleaner. Compare prep burden, travel risk and repeatability against the Element hub.
Element veins run the same horde defence as OSDs and come in three tiers by node health: Easy at 10,000, Medium at 25,000 and Hard at 50,000, each cleared over six waves, with a bigger reward the more nodes you keep intact. An Enforcer (fast, quadruple damage to corrupted) or a Managarmr whose breath does not damage the vein handles the lighter tiers; a bred Vonaur grounds flyers and its ranged hit scales with melee. Keep a pocket Mantis with ascendant picks to harvest, and clear the small nodes before the main one.
OSDs scale Blue, Yellow and Red at six waves each up to Purple at eight-plus, where you can push further for more loot. A leashed Carcharodontosaurus squad is the universal answer; kill the enraged corrupted Trike and Rex fast, since they buff every other corrupted. Red and Purple drops also hand out Mech blueprints. To farm Corrupted Hearts for Titan tributes, run those same Red and Purple drops on a Carcharodontosaurus with harvesting off and victim item collection on - under 50% weight it snatches hearts, and stray Black Pearls, automatically.
For the Titans, a Dreadnoughtus army is the reliable Titan-killer: roughly a dozen with 50-60 armour saddles and sweet veggie cakes clears the King Titan on Gamma and Beta, tanked by a captured Ice or Forest Titan and buffed by a Yutyrannus. The Desert Titan is the weakest. Tame the Ice or Forest Titan by hitting their corruption spots with a MEK, and note the Alpha King Titan needs the Mega Mech built from the Mommy module you earn beating Beta. Bring Hazard gear for the meteor showers and keep the boss centred so it cannot heal.
