Boss carries are common in Small Tribes because the real cost is not the arena timer; it is breeding lines, farming artifacts, getting trophies and risking a character at the wrong time. Treat a carry like a run plan, not a checkout item.
What to prepare before you join
Your character is the part that matters most. Make sure it is on the right cluster, able to transfer if needed, not locked by cooldown, and ready to enter with the tribe doing the run. If the goal is Tek, ask which character needs the unlock and whether the engram comes from the boss itself, Tek Cave, ascension or a later step.
- Boss and difficulty: Gamma, Beta or Alpha.
- Map and terminal: obelisk, cave terminal or mission-style entry.
- Who provides tributes, dinos, saddles, consumables and arena slot.
- Loot rule: Element, trophies, flags, skins and boss drops.
How a clean carry should run
The seller should know the comp before the run starts: number of riders, whether you stand safe or ride, what happens if the arena crashes, and what proof is sent after completion. In veteran groups, the buyer does not improvise whistles, bring random tames or move loot without being told; that is how clean runs turn messy.
- Join voice or watch ticket instructions if the run requires movement.
- Keep inventory light unless told to bring gear.
- Do not transfer the character again until the seller confirms the next step.
Red flags before payment
A carry seller who cannot name the boss, difficulty, cluster or included rewards is not ready to take payment. Be careful with DMs that promise every Tek unlock in one run, vague phrases like all bosses, or payment accounts that change after the ticket is opened.
- No ticket or transcript.
- No answer on tributes or player slot.
- No clear rule for crash, death or missed time window.
When a service makes sense
Use boss services only after the run scope is written down. Layeh's Market keeps boss, difficulty, cluster, timing, payment path and delivery proof inside the ticket so the carry is treated like an actual run, not a random DM promise.
